Heartstrings 15th Annual Walk for Remembrance & Hope
Thank you for all your support over the years! it’s our last walk and it’s going to the biggest & best way to celebrate 15 years of supporting each other and remembering our babies!
The Walk for Remembrance & Hope brings together over 300 family members to remember over 150 babies. We thank our sponsors, Walk committee, volunteers, team fundraisers, attendants, and supporters for everything they did to make the Walk one of the greatest events of Heartstrings year after year.
What is the walk?
Every year, hundreds of community members come together to share with each other their journeys, their babies and their hopes. It is a time when we can openly grieve and remember, and through that togetherness, we grow in the hope that carries us forward. The Walk for Remembrance & Hope is Heartstrings’ most important pregnancy and infant loss outreach event to support bereaved families, and it also financially ensures the continuation of our grief support programs for families in need.
Heartstrings Walk for Remembrance & Hope will be celebrating its 15th Anniversary! Join us at Triad Park, Shelter #6, on October 12, 2019. Friends and family will gather for a Time of Remembrance Program followed by an approximately 1 mile walk, reading of baby names and a biodegradable balloon release. Check-in at the Walk is open from 9-10am.
Registration is open
Heartstrings uses Eventbrite for our event registration needs. This system has been trusted for the last few years and provides easier ticketing and t-shirt ordering. Early registration will be until September 6th and includes so many benefits. Click here for more details on how registering early is best. First time registering? We know that a new system can be a difficult transition. Please do not hesitate to request assistance from Ty at email@example.com if you encounter any issues. We do not want registration to be a frustration!

“Whole Family Portraits”:
Too often, our babies are unrepresented in family portraits. This is our chance to change that! Bring any memory item you want — photos, ultrasounds, stuffed animals — and hold them tight while professional photographers take your portrait! Those without memory items will be given chalkboards to write their baby’s name and hold with them in the picture. Photos will be emailed directly to you at no charge after the Walk.
